Photo-DRIIHM

Home > About

Photo-DRIIHM is the photo library of the Laboratory for Excellence 'Device for Interdisciplinary Research on human-environments Interactions' (DRIIHM) which finances research within several human-environments observatories (OHM). It is a collection of old or recent images collected mainly in the framework of research projects.

The aim is to enhance the historical and iconographic heritage of these territories while offering navigation and research tools, particularly for diachronic analyses (comparative interpretations of images at different dates) to study landscapes and their dynamics.

The images have a definition adapted to the web (approximately 1024 pixels x 768 pixels). Some of the images are geotagged and appear on the map.

The photographic collection is enriched and updated thanks to the collaboration of the engineers and researchers of each OHM.
